It doesn't just Bother Me.. I am mad as hell!
It bothers me.. it really does. It just doesn't bother me, actually I am mad as hell. I don't really know what to do with the anger, beach walks in the morning tone it down, but I am still mad as hell.
Donald Trump is president, and surprise he turns out to be
the person he ran as. I kept hearing he
won't attack a women's rights. He was a
liberal democrat so don't worry. Don't
worry we won't let anything happen to your rights.
Guess what boys and girls, we have a man true to his word no
matter how ugly those words are. His
advice is coming from those that steered the message that got him elected. He thinks nothing of criticizing the head of
Australia, China, and you name it publicly to make sure everyone understands
their is a new sheriff in town and frankly he just doesn't seem to care about
the world at large.
What does he care about?
He cares about a wall between here and Mexico. Surprisingly one comment
he made I agree with and it might stem the tide of people escaping other Latin
America countries, traipsing through Mexico to get here as that path will me
much harder. Maybe instead of saying the
Mexicans should pay a joint strategy would be better.
Does he care about women's health and rights? of course, not, he has decided not to support
any charity who believes a woman's right to choice is a right.
Does he care about people escaping persecution, escaping the
terror of life in Syria? Apparently not, since he has been convinced that all
those trying to escape terror must be terrorists themselves. While other countries such as Saudi Arabia,
where the 9/11 bombers came from, are spared.
Does he care about the environment? Apparently, his care starts and stops at oil
pipelines.
For those who voted for him not believing her
could be that bad.. shame on you. You
had a chance to elect and honorable, knowledgeable candidate with real plans
and respect around the world.
Do, we blame Hillary for the loss? yes, it was her campaign, but wasn't this
lost at the local level first. If this
were all about Hillary wouldn't the democrats have taken back one of the houses
in congress? If it all had been about her would there have been a louder
message from the DNC itself?
The issue continues to be that the Democrats run a national
campaign, that trickles down into local elections. So, that by the time the local council man,
state rep, or sheriff is running there is no consistency in shared goals and
politics. Yes, the Democrats are broader
and less homogeneous than the republicans, but if those independent voters don't
know what the party stands for and the good they have and will bring to them
and the nation they lose the local elections.
They lose the redistricting battles in the state capital. They lose national elections cause the voter
is still not sure what the party and their candidates stand for.
Remember, a month or two before the election, the talk was
about the demise of the Republican party.
Guess what the national view was not right, as they have the local game
down pat. They have consistency of
message. They have consistency in campaigns.
They have run most of the state houses so they own redistricting. And guess what they won the national election.

Until the DNC and the
other “progressive” national political organizations change I am not adding a
dollar to their accounts. (Not that I add that much. but still..). We need to stop yelling that Trump won and
get over it. The next election is in two
years. The senate is calling to stop any
more rogue appointees, and to stop his nasty perverse agenda from lasting more
than four years. What is the plan? Where
are the local politicians (oh guess what I am calling) beginning to set the
stage for 2018? I am ready to work and
fight but not on the same rhetoric that got us here in the first place.
